WaYFARER

Course: DesignLab

Role: UX/UI Student Designer

Wayfarer is a conceptual travel agency website designed as part of a DesignLab course project. Using the provided logo as a starting point, I spent several weeks designing the experience from the ground up. My role included creating UI drafts from scratch, curating and exploring imagery, and researching trending styles and best practices in travel and booking platforms at the time. The final result is a complete end-to-end website experience that reflects how a modern travel booking platform could look and function.

Branding ELEments

Web
Branding

The overall system was designed to feel modern, approachable, and optimized for both exploration and planning, ensuring the experience feels inspiring without sacrificing ease of navigation. Orange was chosen as the accent color to highlight key details and calls to action. A clean, outlined icon library reinforces simplicity and consistency, while typography, spacing, and layout decisions were carefully crafted to guide users naturally through the content.

HOMEPAGE

The homepage is built to make discovering new destinations feel easy and inviting. Eye catching visuals, travel recommendations, and featured destinations help users quickly explore, while personalized tools and trending spots keep the experience engaging and intuitive.

03

Multi Step

This multi-step flow makes planning feel simple and guided by breaking the process into clear, manageable steps. Users can quickly select traveling dates and personal information, their favorite activities and environments using easy, tap-friendly options. The AI will then generate recommendations based on their preferences. It also features progress indicators and clear actions helping them move forward without feeling overwhelmed.
